Frequently asked questions
How long does a book take?
A personalised digital book is delivered after you approve the proof. A softcover is then hand-finished and delivered in 5–7 days. A commissioned story takes three to four weeks to write before your chosen delivery format is prepared.
Can I see it before I pay?
Yes. You will see the personalised preview before checkout, and we email a full page-by-page proof before a digital book is delivered or a softcover goes to print.
What if I spell the name wrong?
Reply to your confirmation email within 24 hours and we will fix it at no charge. After that the sheets may already be printed.
How does a commissioned story work?
You send a brief — the child, the cast, and what happens. A writer replies within two working days with an outline and any questions. You approve it before the story is written.
Can a personalised book be returned?
Only if we made the mistake, in which case we reprint it. A book set with one child's name cannot be resold, so we cannot accept returns for a change of mind.
